Angie Brice Thomas

Having worked with non-profit organizations, to charters, to districts, in addition to serving as a senior executive with a large national education organization, Angie brings deep passion and expertise to the education consulting space. Angie’s impact began as a 5 th grade Science teacher in 2007, where she led her students to achieve historic academic gains, in addition to being tapped for the ESL Teacher of the Year Award a year later. Then, over the next decade, she went on to directly recruit or lead high- performing teams to recruit over 3,000 corps members from a portfolio of 200 colleges/universities, to serve first as classroom teachers through Teach For America, and then as systems-level leaders nationally and globally. Not only has Angie recruited the largest corps in TFA history by producing 25% growth annually, but over 50% and 40% of her recruits identify as people of color, and first-generation college graduates, respectively – thus making Angie the leading producer of diverse talent for low- income schools and communities across the nation.
